Analysis of legacy methods of estimation competitiveness for using in the insurance business

Evaluation of the competitiveness issue is especially acute in any company in any business in any industry. Many authors have suggested a large number of definitions, not only competitiveness but also the methods of its calculation. But at the same time, in the case of insurance business, the concept of "competitiveness" is often substituted for or mixed with the concept of "financial stability". In this article the author examines legacy methods of estimation the competitiveness of their applicability in the insurance business, as well as formulating the requirements for the method of estimation the competitiveness of the insurance company.
